Terms of Service

By accessing or using AdmitIQ ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

AdmitIQ is an AI-powered graduate school admissions platform that provides tools including essay review, interview practice, school matching, CV review, statement of purpose generation, application timeline planning, funding discovery, and faculty matching.

The Service is powered by third-party AI models (including Anthropic's Claude). AI-generated feedback is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute professional admissions consulting advice.

You must create an account to use most features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information at sign-up. You may not share your account with others or use another person's account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

AdmitIQ offers a free tier with usage limits and a Pro tier at $25/month (or the current price listed at checkout). Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe and renew automatically unless cancelled.

• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your account settings. You retain Pro access through the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 7 days.
• Price changes: We will give at least 30 days notice before increasing the subscription price.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate content for submission to institutions in violation of their academic integrity policies
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service
• Submit content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract the Service's AI models or prompts

The Service uses AI to generate feedback, drafts, and analysis. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or outdated information
• Feedback is not a guarantee of admissions outcomes
• You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and taking ownership of any content you submit to academic institutions
• AdmitIQ is a productivity and preparation tool, not a licensed admissions consulting firm

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (essays, CVs, application materials). By submitting content, you grant AdmitIQ a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

All other elements of AdmitIQ — including the interface, branding, prompts, and code — are owned by AdmitIQ and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED FEEDBACK WILL BE ACCURATE OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR SITUATION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ADMITIQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT IN ACADEMIC APPLICATIONS.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
