AdmitIQ ("we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered graduate school admissions platform operated by AdmitIQ. Our website is located at admitiq.com. We help applicants improve their essays, practice interviews, match schools, and build application materials using artificial intelligence.

We collect the following categories of personal data:

• Account information: Name and email address collected at sign-up via Clerk.
• Academic profile: GPA, GRE scores, field of study, work experience, research background, and career goals — entered voluntarily into the Profile Analyzer.
• Application materials: Essay text, CV/resume content, and statement of purpose drafts submitted for AI review.
• Usage data: Which tools you use and how many times, stored in your account metadata to enforce plan limits.
• Payment information: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number or payment details.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device type collected automatically via standard web server logs.

We use your data solely to provide and improve AdmitIQ. Specifically:

• To authenticate your account and enforce plan limits
• To send your essay, CV, or profile to Anthropic's API for AI-generated feedback
• To pre-fill your saved profile on return visits
• To process subscription payments via Stripe
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

AdmitIQ uses the following third-party processors to deliver its service. Each is bound by their own data processing terms:

• Clerk — authentication and user account management. Stores your name, email, and account metadata.
• Anthropic — AI language model provider. Your essay, CV, or profile text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate feedback. Anthropic does not use API data to train models.
• Stripe — payment processing. Handles all billing and subscription management.
• OpenAI — used for voice transcription in the Interview Practice tool.
• ElevenLabs — text-to-speech voice synthesis used in the Interview Practice tool.
• D-ID — AI avatar streaming used in the Interview Practice tool.

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Application materials (essays, CVs) submitted through our tools are sent to Anthropic's API in real time and are not stored in our systems beyond the duration of that API call.

Profile data (GPA, field, background) is stored in your account metadata and retained until you delete your account or request its removal.

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (effective July 1, 2024), Texas residents have the following rights:

• Right to access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to correction: Request that we correct inaccurate data.
• Right to deletion: Request that we delete your account and personal data.
• Right to opt out of data sales: We do not sell personal data, so this right is not applicable.
• Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@admitiq.com. We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on account metadata, and reliance on SOC 2-certified third-party providers (Clerk, Stripe, Anthropic).

No system is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@admitiq.com.

AdmitIQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice on the site at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of AdmitIQ after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
